The cure for boredom

The cure for boredom is purpose. If you have a purpose and you’re still bored, it’s the wrong purpose.

I’m never bored. I always have so much to do that if anything, I go to bed with things left unfinished. That’s yet another reason Astral Eyes will make it big.

When I was poor, I saw a lot of people standing around doing nothing. Those people tended to land in jail. Jail’s full of people with too much time on their hands.

Once you get a purpose in life, you start to work on it. Simply having a purpose requires skill sets. If your purpose is your true passion, you will do what it takes to get the skill sets you need in order to succeed. Yes, it is as simple as that.

Once again, the cure for boredom is purpose

So once again, the cure for boredom is purpose. First, figure out your purpose. Then, obtain the skill sets you need.

Roman and Kristy guarding King Skitz

I want more than anything to be a great composer like Tchaikovsky or Beethoven. Currently, the only market for orchestral music is Hollywood. Hollywood is the absolutely last place I want to sell my music to. That’s out of the question.

Hollywood will chop my music to fit the movie. I don’t want my music touched.

So, I have to create a market myself. In order to do that, I have to develop a bunch of skill sets. I have to get good at video for instance.

We hired a director to direct our first three videos, and I directed the fourth. The first version had a lot of flaws. I corrected a lot of them in the uncensored version, which I released months after taking all the criticisms seriously.

Of course, I also had to learn orchestration. All this works keeps me up all night. My sleep is very limited. I’m always studying.

Your purpose should be challenging

My purpose requires multiple skill sets. Each one takes tons of work. I have to be a phenomenal musician. I have to be a top notch orchestrator. My compositions have to be good enough to make you want to buy them. I have to make captivating videos that you’re looking forward to watching. I have to be able to speak well enough that you’ll enjoy the non-music videos as well. And I have to write well enough that you’ll keep coming back to my blog for more.

If you notice something about me, I’m never bored. My purpose ensures it. I simply have too much to do to get bored.

So, if you’re bored, find a purpose. If you’re too busy to get bored, you’ve definitely found your purpose.
