Not every day can be glamorous

Well my friends, not every day can be glamorous. I’m wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. Too sick to go work out, so instead, I hit the books.

Today, had to do errands. Had to take a sick dog to the Vet. I’m not feeling much better, but the dog comes first. You know the whole man’s best friend thing.

I’m way ahead of deadlines. I got a bunch of stuff already composed for our second album. The artist already submitted his work, so we’ve been sitting on the second album cover for like forever.

I also have a big zit on my cheek. Really nice timing. It better be gone by the 15th when we’ll be in the San Francisco East Bay filming our second video. Either that or we’ll have to hire a pretty good make-up artist to cover the fucking thing up. I’d of course just rather it be gone.

Last thing listened to was Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic doing Brahms’s First. One of my favorite conductors playing one of my favorite symphonies. Was a nice buy last year. I had all this stuff on vinyl, but after the many moves, who knows where those records are? I hope they’re owned by someone who can appreciate them.

The life of a musician – you’re always moving. It seems like every move, you lose 20% of your stuff. That’s how it is.

So no bench today. That was going to be my original plan. Instead, I’m finishing up the string quartet that goes over the ballad on the second album.

On a lighter note, I made a pretty good future contact with a beautiful and sexy model. She’s a badass and full of life. I like that. We’ll have to work her into our future videos. Skitz and I write the scripts ourselves. (And you wonder why we refuse to sign with a major label). I got a degree in History and he’s got one in Media with an emphasis on Video. So needless to say, we’re going to use our degrees, dammit.

And hopefully tomorrow will be a little bit more glamorous

Alright. My Packers play the Redskins tomorrow. I’ll be in the local watering hole, rooting for my boys. I’m not too confident in them this year. Our Offensive Line is a sieve and our Receivers seem like they can’t get any separation. I think we can beat the ‘Skins, but not so sure about the next game.

And here’s a little something more glamorous. It’s a shame the highly beautiful Madeline will be in Tahoe when we’re filming video #2. We offered her a role but she already made plans. I’ll show you screenshots from the video after it’s made. The next video’s going to be better than the first because it will be our second time with the same Director, and we’ll know what we’re doing more. Plus, it’s the second script we wrote.

Here’s me and Madeline from the photo shoot awhile back. I’m going to take it easy today and try to get well and root for the Packers tomorrow.
