My 2c on homosexuality

My 2c on homosexuality

I wanted to write this blog post on how I feel about homosexuality, because I’ve had some idiots assume I was homophobic since I’m economically conservative.

First off, I don’t believe adults should tell other adults how to live. Period. Whatever you do is your business. I write advice stuff on things I actually know something about since I’ve walked the walk.

But personal matters, that’s on you.

Now that said, I’ve never had a homophobic bone in my body. My biggest idol of all is Peter Tchaikovsky and it’s a shame that modern Russia is so homophobic that they’re actually trying to cover up the truth that he was gay.

Plus of course, Heavy Metal fashion came from Judas Priest, my all-time favorite band. Yeah, that leather and spikes that I wear – totally gay. Do I care? No.

High school regrets

Now, this is a huge missed opportunity I missed in high school. Those who know me know how much I love being on stage, including both musical performance and acting. I’m an awesome musician but a mediocre actor. However, I don’t care. I still love acting, even though I’m not that good at it.

My high school had a pretty good Drama department. The Drama department also had some pretty fine ass chicks. And you know what? No competition from the dudes. They were all either dweebs who didn’t know how to swing the bat, or gay.

Yeah, we all fucked up in high school in one way or another. My grades sucked, but I really don’t care about that. I didn’t take school seriously until college anyways.

But I really wish I went out for Drama. I would have loved it. And of course been surrounded by cuties.

“Well, what if you get hit on by a gay man?”

Like I care. Seriously, I don’t care.

I don’t care about most things. Life is too short to waste time on things that don’t matter that much. I only focus on what to me is important.

Sure I’ve been hit on many, many times as in my 20s, I had a much softer face. It hardened in my 30s and I no longer got hit on by gay men.

And guess what? I didn’t care back then and I don’t care now.

As for political issues, I don’t care. I’m very “small l libertarian.” That means I’m not a member of any political party and politically, I really don’t care what you do with your life. Your life is yours.

You won’t see me spouting politics one way or another. You be you, and I’m pretty serious about that.

On a personal level, I’m pretty private about my religious beliefs and my political beliefs. So the last place you’ll see me is at a political rally screaming about something or another.

Not that I don’t believe in Freedom of Assembly. That’s part of the First Amendment, and I’m all for you running around with signs, even if you completely disagree with me, as long as you’re not an asshole about it.

Now SJWs, they’re assholes about it. Even when I agree with some of their points, they’re assholes and don’t realize how much damage they do to their causes.

But alas, I’m starting to veer off topic.

I don’t care what you do with your life. And I don’t want you to tell me what to do with mine. That’s the extent of my politics.
