Imagine – five stupidly simple health life hacks that will add years to your life, save you healthcare costs, make you happier, and make you more attractive to the opposite sex. (Note that these health life hacks work for both genders).

This shit is very simple. People love to make things more complicated than they need to be. I don’t know why people do that. I like keeping things simple. You can do these simple health life hacks and your health and your life will be so much better!

Sprints

I hate running with a passion. But, it’s free. You don’t need a fancy gym membership and don’t need much gear other than shoes and sweats or shorts.

You won’t catch me running long distance any more. I have to protect what’s left of my knees. However, you can easily get your heart rate up and your cardio in in only 15-20 minutes.

Find a track or an open space. Or a trail that’s not overcrowded. Warm up by a light jog. Then pick up the pace.

Then, go into a full on sprint as fast as you possibly can for 100 meters. If you can sprint uphill, even better.

Afterwards, walk with your hands resting in the back of your head until you’ve cooled down.

Then repeat. Then go home, stretch, and take a shower.

Cut out processed foods completely

You don’t need to throw food away. Simply finish what you have. Then the next time you go food shopping, buy fruits and vegetables, meat, brown rice, and pasta. And some real chocolate. And of course coffee. Coffee is a wonder drug.

Do this and you’ll weigh what you’re supposed to weigh. It’s processed foods that are making Americans fat. Cut them out and you’ll be on your way to weighing the right weight.

What is the right weight? Take all your clothes off. Look in the mirror. Unless you have that body disorder, you’ll know when you’re at the right weight.

Drink coffee

Yes, I already said that before. Well, I’ll say it again. Coffee is good for you.

If your family has a history of degenerative brain diseases, then take this seriously. Although it’s not a guarantee, drinking coffee will decrease your odds of getting one.

Plus, it has a lot of side benefits. More antioxidants. Speeds up your metabolism. Just be sure to drink it black, like my women.

Push-ups, squats, and planks

These are three of the best body weight exercises you can do. If you have a gym membership or weights at home, use them instead. But if you’re broke, do these three exercises at least three times a week each (you can do any combination of them or all three together).

Do these in addition to your sprints and you’ll be in pretty good physical shape. And remember to stretch afterwards.

Walk when you get in a funk

I can write endlessly about physical health. We can talk endlessly about physical health. That’s great. But, what about your mind?

We all go through funks. It’s part of being human. Not everything in your life will go as you want and it’s sometimes frustrating.

The absolute worst thing you can do is stay inside your head. You’ll end up spinning around and more than likely making the funk even worse.

So, what to do? Go for a walk.

Yes, that’s right. Go walking. Walking clears up your head.

People need to get outdoors more. Myself included. I love spending the whole day painting. But I know I need more sunlight.

So between layers of paint, sometimes, I simply go for a walk.

You’ll see people outdoors spending quality time with their families. That’s great. It’s what we all need to see more of.

Get outside and get some sunlight. It does wonders for your mental health.
